After a year, he started requesting more railroads.

So, I found the Ikea's Lillabo, cheaper than Brio.

But can we use both together?

Lillabo male side is a little shorter that Brio, suggesting that we can not connect.

However, my son(3.5 years at the time) found out that he can connect by forcing.

Anyway, I shaved one Lillabo railroad a little to make it easier.

Another problem is that Lillabo and Brio magnet orientation is the opposite.

You can couple Lillabo with Brio as front/front or back/back only.

Brio front (left) couple with Lillabo front (right).

Brio front(left) can not couple with Lillabo back (right).
